This is a short and sweet FAQ for the TB race. I hope that it provides some
information.
Please let us know via the contact us page if there is any other information
that you would like us to put up.
Is it too late to enter the race?
Unfortunately yes. You will have to wait for the next race
in 2008.
How do I add links and stuff for the TB race to my racing
travelbug?
Below we provide some standard code that should add an
image and links to the race page. Since it is hard to display html on an html
rendered page please replace all square brackets [] with triangle brackets
<>.

This Tb is taking part in the South African 2007 travel bug race [a

only be one"[/a] please help it on it's journey.[br][br]
Paste the above code from your web browser into notepad (to strip the formatting), replace the brackes to be
triangle brackets and then copy it to the bug detail screen.
Why are the stats and positions for the race incorrect/ out of date. "My TB has moved X kilometres and the site says it has moved Y kilometres?"
The race stats and positions are updated manually. Please bear with us as we update them from time to time.
Where can I ask questions about the race?
Please make use of the forum thread that is devoted to the race.
What is meant by the rule : "Multiple long distance trips with a bug but the same or a group of cachers will be clasified as foul-play, and the bug may be penalised for it."?
This rule was added to prevent cachers from travelling back and forth with a TB, ranking up mileage on each trip. e.g. A cacher, or group of cachers, can not repeatedly move the bug back and froth between Cape Town and Jo'burg to clock the 1200 odd kilometres. This is foul play!
